Scheduling and cancellation policy

If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. Our aim is to schedule your appointment as promptly as possible, so if our schedule is not immediately open, we will book you at the earliest time available, and then move you forward as the schedule opens up.

We take pride in our smooth running schedule and our ability to minimize your wait times since we realize your time is valuable. Due to unforeseen circumstances however, the time allocated for a procedure may be extended for a patient. If this affects your wait time, we appreciate your understanding and patience as we are doing our best to stay on schedule and minimize delays!  Alternatively, if you are the patient who we extended an appointment for, we know you appreciate your dental professional ensuring that your treatment is completed and that you leave our clinic well cared for with the utmost attention and dedication.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice so we are able to offer your time to patients on our wait list. We know that certain times are not readily available unless booked in advance, and that patients prefer times outside of their work or school hours. If this is also true of you, we ask that if you are cancelling a peak time appointment such as first thing in the morning, after school or an evening appointment, you give us as much notice as possible. Patients who cancel more than 3x without giving sufficient notice will be on “same day appointment list only”. This means that you will not be able to select a future time for an appointment, but rather would need to call in on a day you’re available to see if our schedule can accommodate you.
